General Buick Tech / starter does not turn over

I’m willing to bet it’s the battery. A bad cell will still allow the headlights to come on, but if you put a load on it shorts out.

I had a GN in high school and sold it in 1996. Just bought a 1986 GN that is completely original.
Looking forward to learning as much as I can and helping others as well
