General Buick Tech / Re: Rear Control Arms« on: September 15 2020, 12:32:52 PM »
Thanks you guys.
Earl: I'll follow those instructions. Brad: I have a squeak coming from one of those bushings and have 4 new ones just sitting in the tool box so I thought lets have a look. UMI says due to high demand it may take 4-5 weeks so I might check them out again just before spring. 15
General Buick Tech / Rear Control Arms« on: September 14 2020, 07:50:31 PM »
Hey Guys
If I was going to remove the lower control arm to replace the bushings. Is there a certain way to remove the lower arms? Like having jack stands under the frame and the floor jack under the diff then loosen the bolts. Maybe only remove one arm at a time, is there tension on the sway bar? That kind of stuff. Kinda know how to remove and install the bushings but the arms not so much. Thanks |
