You can spend on the spoolfool fillers or you can get a cheap set and spend time fitting them.

I have urethane all the way around.  After 10 years they are getting a little squeeky.

Do you know what hospital? I think Jason started his week hitch today. Might need to make a trip down there if he is conscious. Anyone else have details? I didn't get the email. Pm if necessary.

Methodist.  The prognosis isn't good.

Not as much zinc as I would have expected  SF's should be 1600 or so.

But on another note a class actions suit is the most evil thing ever.  Those who were/are a part of the affected class will get pennies the lawyers will get rich.

How much is "LIMITED"? 7-10% a few points?

http://turbotweak.com/forum/index.php?threads/chip-instructions-for-the-6-0-and-6-1-wideband-chip.1136/

-10% to 35%. or a BLM range of 115 to 170.  You can see the correction on the BLM cell  or graph of the powerlogger.  The closer you can get it to 128 by adjusting the base fuel the better

So I came across this post somwhere else warning everyone to stay away from Dollar General motor oil  Which kind of inspred me to take a look.

DG SAE 10W-30 is actually SF rated with lots of zinc and should work great with Flat tappet cams

OK I'll bite, what is 6.1 something from Eric?

Dave...go to Erics site and read up on it. Basically with Erics 5.7 chip you make a run on the defaults. Check your run on PL and then you guess how much fuel you add/subtract to get your desired fueling. With my car, 750 is about as far as I'm willing to push it. I've raced in all kinds of weather...so I have a good idea what to do with my fueling adjustments in regard to temp/humidity. With 6.1 you set your AF...there's no guessing. If a moron like me can understand it...then anyone can.

Eric has instructions on a PDF file on his site. You'll need a WB. I have an AFX...same as Steve has. Call Norbs...and talk to him about it if you don't have one.

This is true.  The 6.1 chip fuels based on the A/F but it has a LIMITED correction range.  You have to have the base fueling with alky and all that good stuff in the window.

Seeking a weekend break from his campaign rallies, Donald Trump jetted to his yacht, which was docked off the coast of Italy. He invited Pope Francis and the press corps on board for a Saturday afternoon cruise.

It was a rather windy day. The Pope's little hat, his zucchetto, was blown from his head and into the water. A crewman began lowering a boat to retrieve the zucchetto. Trump told the crewman not to bother.

Trump climbed down the yacht's ladder, walked across the waves, picked up the zucchetto, walked back to the yacht and handed it to the Pope. The Pope and the press corps were amazed! Donald Trump could actually walk on water!

Speculation immediately began as to how ABC, CNN, NBC,The Washington Post and New York Times would report this miraculous event to the rest of the world. The next morning the New York Times headline read . . . .DONALD TRUMP CAN'T SWIM!!!

Shimy...send Eric the files...get his 2 cents. Post in the chip section on the other board. Calling Eric Marshall...pos t your logs. You'll get a quick response. I think Razor has the alky come on at 6 PSI default...and I assume you have the blue knob on 7...and haven't messed with the defaults in the PAC controller.

Weak alky pump...that's a possible culprit.

For shits and giggles...ask Eric how far the 37's and alky will take you.

37 lb injectors are good for around 400 HP without additional fuel.  IDC*Injector Size*Cylinders/BSFC

I use .55 for BSFC for a Turbo buick.

General Buick Tech / Re: Attention Fuel Pump Installers
« on: September 14 2016, 08:28:05 PM »

It was always fun to say, 'no, you need a wire for the fuel pump, and valve springs, and a pump, and a modern chip, and a new timing chain''....   and when running right will be the fastest shit you've ever driven.

After that I used to try and guess which of the three groups they'd join.  The ''I need to do head gaskets'' group, the ''I'm selling this POS'' group. or the ''holy fuck they car is fun, I can't keep tires on the back'' group.

Oddly enough the third group is very very small.

and now it seems to be much worse.

So what ever happened to that goober who blew his motor doing donuts for some fatties and wanted to race you?

Windows 7 installed pretty OK.  The latest software used registered drivers so it causes less problems.
