Fo those of you that have done the conversion, does the pedal feel dead prior to purging the air from the hydraulic boost circuit? (p/s fluid side)

I'm bleeding the brakes prior to starting the engine for the first time with the new hydroboost setup and I hardly have any pedal feel. I was wondering if I should run the p/s pump with a drill motor to purge the air? pedal is super squish

A/C, Heating and Cooling / replaced A/C condenser, what next?

So my original '86 condenser had sprung a leak, A/C quit working about 12years ago. I found the tell-tale stain on the A/C condenser followed by an oily film all over the lower core support. So I'm making the educated guess that was the culprit of the A/C failure. While the system has been "closed" this whole time, it has had a leak, and when I replaced the condenser the o-rings looked really good. Is it safe to just fill it with some R-12 replacement and give it a whirl, or is it a better idea to replace the drier(?) as well?
I'm looking for cheap and easy without stepping over a dollar to save a nickel. Looks like the drier is only $18, and the refridgerant is more than that... so maybe I answered my own question, but I'd still like to check that I'm not overlooking anything.

I have a speaker in the kick panel over there... and the stock plastic is about falling apart anyhow. I'm thinking that there has to be a slick way to hang it from the under dash panel.

That was my first impression also, unfortunately the harness is JUST a little short for that. I'm also currently working on repurposing the glove box as the hub of all the aftermarket electrical crap... thats not to say that it cant do both.

Maybe I can hang it upside-down behind the glove box so at least one could access the chip and powerlogger?

I'm going to relocate my ECM, the reason doesnt matter.
So my question, where would YOU put it? I'm not opposed to making/buying an extension harness for it to put it pretty much anywhere.
Concept:
easy to connect power logger/change chips
out of the way of the passenger's feet
clean appearing

I was thinking about a bracket to mount it under the passenger side under-dash panel. I think I could bend up some aluminum to make that work pretty well, and I wouldnt need to extend the harness.

I buy methanol buy the pallet (4 55gal  barrels) during the summer months. If anyone near Flint or Detroit needs 1-5gal at a time, let me know. I can sell it for around $3/gal.

I thought about going the 4" route, but I want it to be quiet so we can drive the car for more than an hour without being sick of it. That is really the main thing that I miss from when the car was stock.
I think you'll be happy with the RJC setup.  I was surprised at how quiet it was after looking thru the muffler and then installing it

wait! you have one already? When did you get it?

thats what I thought, GTG there... I need a grill spring and a jounce bumper though if anyone has either of those laying around I'll pay a fair price for them not to pay $15 for 2 + shipping from kirbans.

I'm really close to fabbing my own with a dynomax vt 3" feeding into a stock location crossover. Since the crossover muffler is long gone on my car, can someone show pics of the mounting used by the stock muffler? I've searched all over and found nothing.

Does this help?

Yes it does... sort of. I can't picture how those mount to the factory mounts that are still on my car, though I can very confident that I could fab those up.
