It is like -40°C right now and the sun is rising - causing the house to creak and groan - and it is freaking me out, man!

Give all your spare parts away for free.

Or at least for a heavy discount. ;)

So we know he's better than me at every but how could I resist

At least I stopped trying to be the best "shit starter" on the Buick boards, right?

I'll say this: for as effective as the product is, the company does not stand behind its warranty.

We had to have a door replaced and a lot of metal work done on the TBSS last spring due to corrosion/rot.  When we went to Krown corporate they dismissed us, didn't follow-up, and ultimately blew us off.  So don't expect the warranty to hold up.

We are still having our vehicles done by Krown, recommend it to friends with that caveat that the warranty isn't worth the paper it is printed on.

Finally, when you decide to get a new vehicle done ensure that Krown drilling holes in your e-coated panels is okay with the manufacturer and that they will still honour their corrosion warranty (most won't).  We just have Krown use whatever access points they can on Natasha's Colorado.

One of the best racers helping racers experiences there is, is on Drag Week.  John and I made a point of stopping for anyone pulled over to offer a hand.  Sometimes just being comedic relief was enough.

I’m sure some Canadians have stuff made of polar bear fur, filled with penguin feathers, and lined with caribou skin.

I have my arctic parka, snow pants, and mukluks in the basement.  Because some days it happens to be that cold.

Having had slept in an improvised snow shelter it is nice to wake up to something cozy.

And yes, I have a fleece camo onesie.

We got a solid 6" yesterday, plow guy did an okay job - but left me some work.  It is -22*C this morning with the windchill, had to put a thin fleece liner under my raincoat.  It was -17*C earlier this week and I left the office in a t-shirt.

Ya'll are wussies.

Looks more like ice crystals than snow

It is just the contents of a snow cone machine.

Don't eat the yellow snow...

General Buick Tech / Re: FMIC Data
« on: December 01 2017, 10:47:15 PM »
For what it is worth... when the TBSS ran its 11.9 @ 116mph it was on an 18*C day - the datalogs shows the IATs starting at 68-70*F and rising to 100*F by the end of the runs.  These passes had the Procharger putting out 12psi the eBay special intercooler.

Honestly I think most of it has to do with air management across the core - how many guys actually seal their FMICs to the grille to avoid leakage and manage the high/low pressure areas on either side of the core? Very few in my experience.

The scoop we run on the TBSS is tightly sealed to the core, and it dumps into a low pressure area behind the bumper.

Weird that you found a Honda in Detroit.

Sounds like a winner that fits your needs.
