New engine fired up today without a hitch. SM numbers were bang on...and she runs as smooth as silk.

Gonna try. Been pretty lucky over the years. Two cracked cylinders...an d one piston pin came loose and scored up a cylinder. Only time I lost a pair of head gaskets was when the vacuum hose from the port to the actuator collapsed. Run mine tuner style. I log every run and go over it in the trailer between runs.

Glad for ya!  Still piecing parts together for my engine build and saving money for the machine shop. It is nice to have a running turbo Buick in the meanwhile.... But she sometimes pushes my engine build further to the right...
