Title: Drag Radial and ET Street Questions
Post by: Scoobum on April 05 2014, 09:21:20 AM: I have a pair of MT 245/50/16 DR's and a pair of MT 245/50/16 ET Street bias plys. What tire pressure would you guys recommend for the track...as I've never run the 16's before. Both sets are mounted on TTA rims.

Post by: Steve Wood on April 05 2014, 10:03:11 AM: being skinny, I would suggest about 24 psi as the starting spot and check the patches as you would normally do on some cleaner pavement to see which way you might need to to from there

It may not be as precise for radial tires but it gives you a starting place and a guide for which way to go. Once in the ball park, it would pay to experiment and let the clocks tell you what is best

That's why I'm asking for a track pressure to start out at.

I just bolted 'em on today...with the new Billet Specialties rims.
