Any advice on properly setting up for drag strip? I have Hellwig rear bar set on firmest setting. Should it be set with any preload or neutral on the end links with tires on ground? I also have Spohn solid LCAs. Maybe somebody has a good link for setting up? Thanks

At your level, you should not need preload...set it up neutral and if it launches straight, leave it alone

Thanks. On street car night our track does no prep and traction goes down hill fast. Just trying to optimize what I have. Will try to make some passes in 3 weeks.

if it lays down two even stripes the same length, it is good to go

Low 1.6 launches here with an old skool ATR rear bar and cheapie Lakewood 70/30 fronts and 50/50 rears.

Nice Scoobum. I have cut some low 1.70s and then next pass spin tires and cut 1.9x. Im running my Hoosier drag radials at 19psi when warm. Maybe I will drop psi a little more next time out. Have another street car night in 3 weeks. At the end of April a group of turbo Buicks are going to hit a real TnT with a prepped track.
