Wonder if you can run multiples in line - that'd make for some huge gains :)

I've discovered another fuel saver I'll do instead.....re move my spare and just carry a can of fix-a-flat.

Well after pulling the engine and trans from my car I've found that what started out as a couple spots of rust on the floor pan has turned into areas that could easily be cleared out to form a 'Fred Flintstone Drive' mechanism.  I guess the fire and sitting in the elements for two years took its toll.  But it got me thinking.  I bet a 'Fred Flintstone Drive' mechanism would greatly increase city mileage.

I don't mean to be nit-picking here.... but if you go that route, keep in mind it may be a wash-out with the expense of good quality tennis shoes.
I would suggest some "jordan-airs" or something along those lines. something with good traction on asphault.  you'll want a good light shoe or you'll just be adding weight again.
