Or where can I get a copy of this Buick Illustrated Parts PDF file
When you get to the second index it won't open or maybe it has been removed, but maybe someone might have a copy.

Hi earlbrown, That's the one, but did you try to open the 2nd page (Illustrated Index) and see if anyone one category opens up?

If I recall correctly search engines will return all the lower hierarchical pdfs below that index.

Hi Dave, What does that mean "search engines will return all the lower hierarchical pdfs below that index"?
Have you try to open the 2nd page (Illustrated Index)?

Man that sucks that I have to do an engine search, on each category sections to be copy. Well maybe by the time I'm done I will finally make a CD out of it. Thanks again, Julio

It's opens fine with adobe reader and IE. Firefox and Chrome use there own readers or short versions of adobe and hangs up.

I've got a copy of that CD here and it is pretty handy to have. I have used it many times and is worth the money, wasn't much if I remember correctly. I have also been emailing a lot of the pages to a buddy of mine who is working on a T-top car.

Hi Paul, Thank you, you're right I do have Firefox since the Window Internet Explorer was running too slow.
I open the existing Window Internet Explorer and the PDF file did open, but when I click to purchase it the site is close.
Can you make another copy? Or do you know if Chris is still available?
-
Is there a way to download the complete set of pdfs rather than just the one on the screen?
-
i scanned the manual (lc2 pages) many years ago
problem is its 7.75Mb in individual scanned pdf page form , 29.1Mb in album view pdf
-
I just want to know if it's cool for me to post it.
If UnGN is still selling them, I don't want to do that.
-
He was from Texas and his name is Chris. I haven't seen him on the boards in a long time. I'm sure Steve Wood can find him.
-

Hi Ed, Sorry for not given you the recognition of telling us it won't open with Firefox or Chrome.
I read the thread fast and saw Paul said the same thing, but I like give thanks to first of replying with comments.
I guess the older I get the more strength my glasses needs to be.
As I did mention before I open an old site that still uses IE, and I able to open the Buick Illustrated Parts PDF file.
Myself and probably other members would like to get a CD copy of the Buick Illustrated Parts from Chris.
Beside Steve Wood maybe someone else might have his contact info
-
I have not heard of him in years....he is way over in east texas as far as I know
-
Ed from ULYCYC has mention this PDF of Buick Illustrated Parts won't run on Firefox or Chrome.
I did found this site, and if you click on the lower right side, it will open in Firefox.
