Well after hearing how much fun Steve had :P and the fuel pressure issues I think I'm having I figured I might try the aeromotive 340 new this year for GM applications.

I had heard some people have issues with the return line being restrictive?

I would not be surprised to find that the Aeromotive, DW, and Turbotweak pumps all come from the same factory?
All these pumps, and the Denso as well, put out more volume at 40 psi than do the Walbros and this loads up the return line so that it can become a restriction. I would not be surprised to find there is more than one version of return line employed by the factory. GM was good about using what was on the shelf at times. Chrysler was even better.
Of course, if one guy has 14.5 v at the pump and the next has 13.8, that can make a big difference as well

What about using the existing feed line as return and upsize the feed line?
-
should work fine...the need to upsize the supply line probably becomes more important over 700 hp, or so...I would guess
-
Another option I read was to use the vent as a return and the return as a vent.
-
I am not sure end to end, but, the vent outlet at the tank is larger than the return.....nev er figured that one out
