looking for the bolt that attaches the shifter cable to the trans linkage
anyone??

The shifter cable is held on by a pin and clip. Unless your are talking about the lever that bolts on to the trans.

yes ed thats what im lookin for  the bolt that attaches the shifter cable to the trans bracket
its discontinued from gm an nothing that old in the yards around here
