Well, after much whining I got my Rhoads and an Electribe. The Rhoads has already been GN-ified just like my other Jackson. The Electribe is capable of bass like I've never heard before. Last night I was fucking around with some sounds and took a pic of the mess.....I'm not sure if I'm working on music or getting ready for liftoff.
....okay dammit- why wont this board let me up pics anymore? Can I mail 'em to somebody to up?

Use imageshack.us or photobucket.co m You probably ran out of attachment room.

Nice! You sure have a lot of "stuff"!

Oh no, my price list is horrendous. I don't even want to remember.

It's disgusting, isn't it? I didn't even mention the Roland piano, two accoustics, etc.
.....and I know one pays through the nose for a good Strat. You rock a Carvin amp, don'tcha?
-
Yup. "Vintage" Quad X preamp, 600 watt power amp, 400 watt 4x12 cab. It's devastating. As far as Strats go, my taste is pricey. I have a US Lone Star edition, a '73 and a '76. I hate 60's Strats, they feel like they'll break. The 70's Strats are brick shithouses of wood. I love them. I have a little collection of cheap little Japanese toy guitars I get for $50 here and there too. My pedals, I have like 7 or 8 or more, I've lost count. I have a class A 15 watt (about 40 class A/B) Fender amp and a little 15 watt Marshall too. I love amps more than anything though. I really want a Mesa Blue Angel 4x10.
-
I do most of my shit direct, so amps aren't as important to me....*BUT*, my latest amp has thrilled me so much that I'll likely be a Randall man for a long time to come. That is, unless someone here wants to loan me around four thousand bones for a Krankenstein.
....I wish I were more familiar with my Strats and the differences between the years. Where are all the pics of this equipment, Mr. Photographer Man?
-
Oh, I'll get em...

Speaking of which, let me load my last few negatives...

Do that, homey. It bears mentioning that when Natty takes his trip out this way, that little house of horrors is the room he'll be sleeping (it off) in.
-
Happy B-Day Bro! I don't get excited about them either. After the 21st they all suck. BTW, the Jackson ax looks right at home. :supz:
-
I'll have to dig up some pics. Like Natty, I don't remember what everything cost
me. My whole rack setup was like $4k though. $1,300 for the 24 track digital
recorder.I probably have as much into my music stuff as I do my GN. :rofl;
-
I think the priciest thing was my 97 Strat. About $950 or so. I still don't like it, I hate maple boards. Yet 2 of my guitars have them. Next axe is a custom Fender Jazzmaster. I'm building it like an SG, mahogany body, solid rosewood neck, dual humbuckers.
-
Heres a pic of me playing my Kramer strat. This was the first guitar
that I bought brand new. It has a floyd rose trem. The only thing I've
changed on it was the bridge pickup. I put an EMG in it.
I'm having a hard time getting the site to upload the image.
I'll have to contact S6 about that.

Heres a pic of my '69 SG with the "Punisher" on it. A
friend of mine named Moe Rondeau hand painted it
for me. It also has EMG pickups.

The popular EGM 81s? Or did you go with something else? Also, why are you bundled up like that? It would seem to me that if it's too cold for t shirts, it's too cold to play the guit-fiddle.
-
Why is that piano guy in the backgound shirtless, that just seems un called for. :smt018

Maybe they were playing a ballad?

Maybe he was itchy from removing all the insulation.

LMAO! Actually, he was taking pride in being a blood donor. (Have you ever seen a Black Fly?)
-
No, but I've seen a few Spanish Flys.

The first pic was taken in the summer, and the second pic was taken in the winter.
Even with a space heater, that room took a while to warm up. Solution - play fast=keeping warm !
