Have you gotten your license back yet ?

i have had it. i never really lost it, just got it suspended a while back for 2 months for a reckless driving charge. officer was BSin me with this long," used to have one of these"stories and stuff and the judge evidentally has heard the same thing from about this officer and let me off easy. but yea thats done and over with. havent been pulled over since. (knock on wood)... now im looking into some suspension parts. any links would be appreciated. advice is good too. thinkin of going with the eibock springs that lower it 1" and the bilstein shox, sound good? also getting some control arm bushings... workin on new tubular arms and sway bars later... what yall think?
-
I am happy with my bilstein shocks and Hotchkis springs. It lowered the car around 1" all the way around.
-
I have the Hotchkis rear control arms and tubular braces. They
work incredibly well. You can easily re-inforce/ stiffen your
car up with a rear seat brace kit. Poston's and Kirban's both have them.
Depending on what you have for an intercooler, there are a number of upgrades
available for the front end too.
-
sounds good, how much were the springs?
-
Best springs I ever got were Moog factory replacements at Kragen for my El Camino. $60 I think. Without a rear sway bar and a set of KYB's (the poor man's Bilstein) it was amazing! Hitting whoops on the freeway at 100 were like nothing, I also did the poly suspension all the way around. I eventually got a rear bar and the thing fishtailed all over the place.
If you get a poly bushing kit, get the Global West one, they have a brass bushing for the pass side upper control arm so the downpipe doesn't kill it.
Figure out what you want to do, like drag racing or turning or both.

Here is the link for the Hotchkis springs:
