blower motor on my '97 F 150 has died after making rattling noises for a few years....I never located it more than knowing it was behind the glove box some where.
Do you know it it is mounted vertically under the dash, or is it mounted horizontally into the firewall or hvac ductwork?
There is so much stuff crammed in there that a quick look did not make it pop out...looks like I may have to pull some stuff out first before I uncover it? Maybe I need to go get my eye fixed to see if tgwo are better than one?

I don't have any 150's here, but isn't it accessible underhoood under that conglomeration of wires? I think the PCM is there and a relay center. Alldata gives 9/10 w/AC to change it but as usual, not good enough diagrams.

yep, that pic and a flashlight worked wonders...if I could see out of my right eye, it would have been easier...shoul d not be too bad if I can find the mounting screws....when the rock delivers the new one, I can see where they should be, I guess
The resistor is underhood in the mess of wires...
Thanks for the pic!

or so Haynes says...that link shows it under the dash

Looks to be a relatively easy repair, but you know what THAT means!

yeah, I just gave my neighbor his cutting torch back
-
I've replaced that resistor already ('98).
Da*ned if I can remember where it is.
