I hope I can make it, but I'm pretty cash poor right now. Nothing like getting married to empty a man's pockets out nice and proper. :rolleyes; I'm still walking funny after paying my credit card bill for the engagement ring. What a ripoff and a bullshit custom having to give a ring is anyway. :smt071

Right now the Cannery is showing $134 a night for a room which is a real ass kicker. Shit that's more than I paid at Bally's right in the center of the strip last month. I don't want to run the Cannery down since I've never been there but I do know it's in bumfuck nowhere on the north side of town, so I'm surprised it's so expensive. Hell, maybe I'll stay at the Horseshoe downtown for $60 a night. Sorry to sound like such a cheap ass, but after getting used as the proverbial tampon by the jewelery industry I don't have much choice but to be a mizer.

Well, the poor girl hasn't been tricked into saying "I do" yet. The wedding isn't until October 23. So the Vegas races if I can make it might be kind of a bachelor party for me. :supz:
