I just installed some comp drag shocks.
The rears would compress to fast and unload the rear on launchs (bounce). The front would not open (rise) when I tried with my hands. So both shocks were not doing what I needed and I hope the new shocks will show some good 60's.
The best I got before was a high 1.68 with the avg being 1.78.
I need 1.55's .
I was going to the track on tuesday but it might rain.
We have a nother street race at the track on thursday and I'm going to race a turbo TPI TA.
I also think I have my fuel curve figured out, the car should run a little faster.

Those should make a difference. Ironically, I've had
good luck with off the shelf cheap shocks. They seem a little
weaker and respond fairly quick.

What are your rates on the shocks? Usually you only need to do the fronts, I've had good long with worn out rear shocks myself.

90/10 and 50/50
Thats the problem, I need something a little stiffr that will push against the tires. Hard to explain but when I see the video, the rear of the car comes down hard and bounces back up, unloading the tires.
Leaving off a brake, right bag with 20#
I really think this will help.

Looks like no rain, so I should make it tonight. Hot though at 93 deg.
Who wants to guess my 60' ???

1.8? We should start a pool.
I see what you're saying, something with a harsh rebound to slow the body on it's way up. Have you done anything to the control arms?

Stock noodles
I'm going with a 1.62

Ok, alittle off.
but very consistant 1.70 - 1.71 and felt very smoth, so now I need more power.
Small set back. The car ran for shit. I seemed to get worse, only made 3 runs.
Did a compression test and have 1 bad cyl with a weak second cyl. Now I need to figure out if it's a broke ring, or just a weak ring/cyl wall.

**Update
I think I smoked 3rd. No?
