I was pretty loopy, but I don't THINK I ever had my head up my butt, so Gothie's world view (as seen through rose colored asses) is still, thankfully, a mystery to me.

It reminds me of the trick we'd do as kids. Y'know, the one where you stand in a doorway lifting your arms against the frame for a minute then walk out and feel your arms lifting themselves.
