Code 51

Prom Error

• Remove Prom, gently clean the contacts with a pencil eraser, reinstall in ECM.

• Clear memory (disconnect/reconnect orange battery wire)

• Start engine, check for code 51.

• If it reappears, try another chip and/or ECM.

• Clear codes, verify closed loop operation, and no SES Lite
