Factory Wiper Troubleshooting Guide
In the above picture of the wiper motor removed, I am holding a quarter inch drive socket in place to show the blind bolt that is not seen when the motor is mounted. If you have a small enough hand to be able to slip it between the motor and the inner fender, you can feel the head of the bolt and guide a 10mm socket over it so that it can be removed. I used to struggle to put it back, but, these days, I just reinstall the top two bolts which makes it a cinch to replace the washer pump when it goes out. I have learned to be less anal and minimize my frustrations. The extension should be just long enuf to clear the housing to lessen interference problems with the wiring bundles and relays.
